This cutting board cream, applied monthly, is designed to maintain the health of your cutting boards, butcher blocks, wood utensils and countertops. Overtime, the oils and waxes used to seal the pores of your wooden item will degrade, allowing moisture into and out of the surface. This cream helps to re-seal the pores, preventing staining, warping, and cracking. Sudden changes in humidity can be extremely dangerous to an un-treated or under treated wood material. The board cream is a thick and viscous treatment, which settles just under the surface to create a surface seal.
